I chose this one because it's recent and shows a rare MacKinnon red in a Double Box Pleated Kilt .
Lady Chrystel is standing next to me at our friends house in Italy.
Warm climate, great food and drinks, excellent friends. I juste had to post this photo.
Best,
Robert

The first daylight that this newly made 21-pleat (my birthdate) hand-sewn 7.6 yard 12 oz blue denim has seen, at our backyard. I'm proud of my first attempt at kilt-making. I was about to go out square dancing in it.

Picture taken with my wife at my brother's wedding. I don't often wear this kilt (MacLean weathered), but I like it in this picture!
Best regards,

Earlier this year our local business magazine did a feature article on Freedom Kilts.
This is the photo that was a two page spread.
The Kilt is my Isle of Skye paired with one of my Kilt-Cut Sport Coats, Freelander Sporran & First Nations Kilt Pin.

I pick this photo because as an X Marks Forum colleague mentioned it has my favorite person the fair Lady Jean right there with me during a wonderful evening. She always makes me look better than any accessories I could wear and then later people might even notice I'm in a kilt.

It doesn't snow that often in our part of Texas.
When it does snow, it usually doesn't snow much.
When a late-season snowstorm dumped 5-6 inches on us, I knew I had to do two things: don the kilt, and get a picture of me juggling snowballs!

It was a great afternoon, even though all the snow was gone by the next day.

I recently got my first "kilt", the Irish National tartan in SWK thrifty. I like this photo because since it's my first and my husband is also wearing his first kilt (Black Stewart in SWK standard) and also because I know so many more kilts, tartans and accessories will come in the future. I look forward to them!
