go to home depot or lowes and get a paint can opener. It looks like the top one.

Yep, the top one is a $1 paint can opener from the hardware store. Cut off the paint can opener end (it's flat and wider than the rest of the shaft), drill a hole to fit the shaft, use some epoxy, and you're set. Before setting it, I cut some grooves in the shaft to hold the epoxy better, though.
