Congratulations! I've not done it myself, but I've long considered applying for membership to Clan Matheson. Maybe this is just what I need to get off my lazy duff!

Congratulations, I joined my Clan Society last year and was very proud of it, it helps to feel a part of something, now the real trick is to get involved.

Congrats. I'm rather fond of my clan. It was easy for me to get involved. Which is how I managed to get so many titles attached to me.

I was forced to watch Out Of Africa and The English Patient back to back. It was horrible.

AMEN!! I've been excited yet, proud to be a member of my Clan Association.

As for "getting involved", it was really easy for me. Our Association President was intrigued by my zeal that, he asked if I would be willing to "take over" the reins as Commissioner for my state. I've really had a blast, the more involved I've become.

You are correct McMurdo, the first trick is to get involved. The unfortunate thing is, people become burned out. I hope to not follow suit. So, for now, I will pace myself, instead of burying myself . But, I think I have enough zeal to learn more about my heritage, family lineage/history and, to carry on our traditions and culture that, I'll survive. Now, my next trick will be . . to get others interested in it (and involved as well). And to hopefully, rekindle that "spirit" in the members of our Association here in Kentucky.

    So Tommy, I say . . CONGRATULATIONS!!!
