    I did consider it, but then the description seemed to be for gentlemen who had prosperous proportions. . . . . so I got the belt, 'twas cheaper. (Spoken like a true Scotsman.)

    I made a sporran from black motorcycle saddlebag leather, with loops large enough to hang on my belt. Figured it would be for casual wear. Came in handy once when the chain was still home. Sporran isnt really anything to look at, but it is useful.

    I'll take useful over pretty any day

    I've worn my sporran on my belt, but I got some comments about it looking weird.

    I don't think thats true, I wear sporran straps and i like it better than sporran belt sometimes.
