Hello all,
I myself see the kilt as an article of clothing not something tae play dress up in. Furthermore I will wear a kilt anydae of the week nae matter if it's just a plain auld Mondae or a Holidae o sum sort. I know what ye mean though. Being kilted on Halloween seems tae cheapen the kilt or should I sae it brings about the feeling of disrespect. Ancestors have fought and died for many things including the right tae wear the kilt. That being said maybe trews shuld be worn or sum auther form o unmanly dress that dae. The only real issue you'll face will be when your kilted on All Saints Dae and they'll be askin why you're still in your Halloween git up and walk away a wee bit puzzled that's all. Agin it's up tae you in the long run. You want tae wear your kilt, do so ! Who cares about the rest o the lot and what their wearing cuz in the end their just jealous and wish they had a kilt. I see by some of the pics in this post there are sum fellow Jacobites about. It's always gud tae be among Family.
Yours Aye,
Sean
