Hmmm... Those Gordon trews seem kind of interesting.
From what I understand, it is possible or all right to wear trews with a kilt jacket. I might be wrong about that though.
Don't know anything about the kilts.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Assuming we are talking about the real thing,we are I think, and not just tartan trousers, then an Agyll is just the ticket. Tweed for day and for evenings(am I really saying this!?) the black silver buttoned Argyll(with or without the 3 buttoned waist coat) looks very smart. I have seen the PC worn with trews ,but somehow, to my eyes, it does not look quite right.
