A few new "Sgian Don'ts"

That blank is gorgeous. I just don't go for the wire openers, though. I'm a fan of the bar-style "rapid opener" (like in my own sgian don't). Just my personal opinion. The horn is good, but again, I like the blank one the best. Looks like the top opener one is of the same wood, but the diameter of the handle doesn't showcase the burl as well.

I confess Andrew that I like the "rapid opener" as well. Wasn't there a discussion on this style earlier in the year?
Where do you find these "rapid openers"?
