I'm sorry for my absence, gents - 2008 has not been a good year on a number of levels, but I plan to slide gracefully into 2009 on the tails of a great Foothills gathering.
Bill, of course I always look forward to seeing you, Mrs. Hiker and the b'ys. Nelson, no worries, my friend. Shawn and Liam and the rest of the lads, looking forward to hearing you guys live again! And, Darryl, of course - which begs the question are you going to see Great Big Sea in Charlotte tomorrow night? I tentatively plan to be there.
I'll be up there on Friday night and hope to attend the Call of the Clans, but I'll be there on Saturday morning for sure. Just made my hotel reservations.

Did not see GBS last night, but I did talk to the lead singer, Alan, on my cell. A friend of mine accosted him at the tour bus, whilst I was on the phone with her. He said to say hello. :P

I went by Queens hoping to get a tickey...alas, there were none to be had. I saw the bus parked around back and thought about stalking the bus, or walking around it calling out "Alan!" "Sean?" "Bob?" until I realized just how creepy that sounded in my head! LOL
