Yes, Nighthawk, but you can wear the SWK Saffron heavy weight Shadow tartan. That is a color that would probbably not work for me, so the karma balances in the end.
I am watching this thread and taking notes to see where the ideas go, so thanks for asking the question, BP.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

I see your point. I've been told that the saffron brings out the "roar" in my hair.

Yes, Nighthawk, use The Force... Ehh, and the colors that look best on you. Think of the aspens in the autum; that is probably your season.
Sorry to have diverted from the discussion of oatmeal hose.

Actually, you're very correct. The MacKenzie weathered looks killer on me.
So back onto the subject of hose- I just got myself a pair of grey ones. What about those with the Lamont weathered? I'd like to see grey ones with it as well.

Here is a pic of the SWK weathered Lamont with Lochcarron oatmeal hose on the left ($25) and Hamilton Dry Goods cable knit cotton hose ($8)

You can look on ebay - they sell there. You can get navy, red, off-white. When I bought these I just called up and asked. HDG sometimes has colors not shown on ebay or the website. Just make sure you tell them you don't want the hose that are like over-the-knee ribbed crew sox.
