I am not suggesting that the STA will do that. Just giving my own experience.
As a member of STA, I will vouch for the organization. Brian Wilton and other STA members, including our own Matt Newsome, are doing much to preserve the history and traditions of tartan, as well as debunking the many myths out there as well.

They do a fine job, too, despite the roughness of the row they hoe.
