Pimply-faced, post-pubescent punks hurling epithets over the shoulder just as the doors are closing? They are cowards and not worth your time.

Well, that's what happens...you get a couple of clever a-holes who are all full of alcohol and just got their share of TV full contact "male-ness" and they feel like they just have to show off their rapier like wits by insulting the first person that they see who they would consider not living up to their high standards of guy-ness. Alpha males, obviously...gotta love 'em. Wonder if it would have happened if there was only one of them...?

In my experiences such morons only hurl insults while in the company of other morons, safety in numbers you know. Of course its only proper for such dim wits to call you a queer or pansy while with their friends, so that if you decide to try and hurt them their friends can back them up.

More like Omega males, I think. Ponies among the horses.

I very much doubt that one pony would have had the nerve to say anything.

Oh, that was sort of my point...I just love the guys who think that they're "alpha males"...I have a lot of friends who fancy themselves "tough guys" but all they really are is big, quick to mouth off and, as a result of that, the recipients of a whole lot of dental work over the years. Knowing when to talk and when to let a wisecrack roll off your back is a real talent.

Of course, that isn't much different than how we send the British packing.

Of course, I know a few people that could make it down the stairs in time to catch up (especially when the elevators make stops between floors, and the idiots arn't in a hurry towards the door.)

I am sure that this is not an insult to the British, but I just do not understand what you mean by this. Would you care to enlighten this confused British man?

I'm referring to the revolution, where we had to fight in such a way to actually do anything against the better trained Redcoats.

Oh, I see. Thank you for enlightening me.

Was it not the native Americans that championed that style of fighting? I seem to recall something about that from my youth. I never was much good at history.

Mark, You have to excuse some of us colonials. Most of us view Britain as historically our friend, rather than otherwise. Some of us are still fighting our Civil War from 150 years ago. We're a little slow sometimes.
