Welcome from Eastern Washington State USA. I really appreciate your comment about men and their sporrans.

"A sporran should be comfortable to wear, and be FUNCTIONAL. It should be just large enough to hold all your essentials. It should compliment the tartan of your kilt, and maybe even reflect a wee bit of your personality (you can tell a lot about a man from his sporran!)"

Maybe it takes a woman to recognize how unique a man and his sporran can be.

Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to post me a message, I feel proper welcomed!
I haven't had time yet to have a wander round and have a wee visit with everyone, but I promise I'll get round to it.
Today is my day off and I've been making a new sporran. This one's all black, really soft leather, and riveted together instead of sewn. (I do love my rivets)
If I figure out how to post pics, I'll put it in the DIY section.

Halo, Lindy Loo, from west London - actually the local Antipodeans have renamed the area SheBu (as in Chez Bou). Is your avatar pic one of yours?
