Hi from East Kilbride (near Glasgow)
Hi everyone! (this is the THIRD time I've written this, I keep losing it, so you might get a condensed version!) I discovered this fab site when i was searching for sporran tassel caps, and I found some, so yay! I'm a mum of 2 boys (aged 9 and 14months), and work for a newspaper so I don't get a LOT of free time. But any I get I can usually be found at my kitchen table, surrounded by sporran making paraphanalia (which is my latest obsession). Never happier than when I'm riveting, or eyletting and suchlike! I'm going to trawl this site and pick everyone's brains for tips (here was me thinking I had an unusual hobby, but it turns out everyone's doing it!). My sporrans are all completely handmade (due to the fact my old Singer refuses to sew through leather) so I'm limited to what i can do, but any helpful suggestions or constructive criticism would be most welcome. Nice to come across others who are as mad about highland dress and all things Scottish as I am. LindyLoo x

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
