Glad to hear that the wee airship has moored safely at her home base!
It was a joy to meet her and I hope to see her again on a future voyage!
Hope you can read my writing in the log!

I am so relieved that 'The Saltire' made it back in time for your Burns Supper, Jamie, in spite of the strong headwinds. One can not be so sure of arrival times when up against the elements, especially at this time of year. By the way, I hope you are keeping a tally of the approximate mileage she is covering from port to port with all this inter-continental and trans-oceanic flying!
Gosh! That was a close call - just missing that tree as she flew over San Jose!
Take care,
Ham.

Great shot of the Saltire over the valley. Now if you can just get one by the hangers at at Almeda (sp?) that used to house airships!

The Saltire visits Stanford University (One for Alan H.)
I had a meeting up in Palo Alto regarding SCD this morning and couldn't think of a better way to make the trip than by zeppelin.
Time was quite short but it seemed appropriate to do a quick fly over Stanford University to wave at the Nor Cal Rabble's own Alan H. who works there.

Yeah! Hoover tower and the front of the Encina commons, one of the first dormitories at Stanford, and now home of...I think...the Statistics department, among other things.
James, if you'd lke, we can take the Saltire on a tour of some of the sights of Stanford.
