I missed last year.
I'll likely be in a bar (not a pub). Plastic Paddy acceptable for the fun of it.
Green or saffron or maybe even a navy blue kilt.
Other outfit high to low casual according to the weather.

I will be skiing. I have yet to determine if skiing in slovakia will be too cold for a (PV "Heritage of Ireland") kilt . If it is, I will still put a kilt on that evening. Mind you, it is pretty unusual (read very very unusual) for somebody Irish (from Ireland) to wear a kilt on Paddy's day. (please please please not Patty's. Yuck!)

Just gotta poke the bear don't you, Jamie! I will probably have on my newest kilt, a fashion tartan that looks quite like the Irish National, and if I can find it in time....my flat cap!

I usually kilt up on that Sunday for services because my senior pastor (Flannery) is Irish. I like to balance a little of the blarney that day. Since it's an American drinking day, it shouldn't matter what one wears. It'll either be another kilt day for those who wear regularly and a good excuse for the occassional kilter. ith:

One can only hope. Double fisting is the only right way to do it.

Well..... Yes, there is often a long queue for beer, and freshly poured Guinness takes a bit of time to settle! int:

That's quite the pic, Zardoz, too bad you're all the way down in TX! Two pints and an Irish National kilt, sounds like fun, trouble, or most likely both!

Sounds like we need to start an Ancient Douglas group, it is getting so popular.
Unfortunately it is only the second prettiest pony in my corral, after the IoS. And if my HoE MacDonald of Glencoe Muted ever arrives (any day now) Douglas may take third chair. Still a beautiful tartan---not as stuffy as the Modern.
