    I'd heard about it, and wanted to do it, but never found the time. I also heard about a Victorian custom where the bride makes a fancy cabled white sweater for the groom to wear, with their interwoven initials hidden in the cables in unlikely spots (under the arms, etc).

    Sorry to hijack this thread and turn it into a knitting thread. I seem to do that a lot.
