Interesting. Here in Colorado it was 73F today And it is supposed to be in the 70's the next couple days too. March is usually one of the heavy snow months here. NO, you don't see me complaining.

gorgeous photos! I wish we'd get a little more snow here in Idaho, but it was almost 70 here today as well! Weird weather!

I'm so glad it's you and not me this time!
Regards,
Rex.
At any moment you must be prepared to give up who you are today for who you could become tomorrow.

My son and I shoveled our nine inches off of the walkway and driveway.
Nine inches official, seemed more like six inches to me.
Dry and powdery. Easy to shovel except when it was blowing back in my face.
Part B
Now I want it to go away.
Instead we’ll get a few days of single digit (F) temperatures at night, then a few damp days of slush and mud.
Ok. I’m giving it a deadline. I want it out of here and the weather to be consistently moderate no later than Saint Patrick’s Day. No excuses.
I can wear the kilt! I can control the weather!
I need a cup of hot chocolate now...

The storm really did not do much. We were supposed to get a big one, and all that showed on the ground was barely one foot. Easy to shovel stuff, the snow thrower stayed in the shed. The media hype was worse than what little showed. I agree about the lack of traffic. With the schools closed my All Wheel Drive Subaru and I had fun on the unplowed city streets. (Da Budget, ya know). P.O.'ed a few low riders on Fairmount Hill, moving was easy for me up the hill, they just weren't going anywhere...

I had to shovel 18 inches of drifted snow off of my truck yesterday afternoon. I was in no mood to take pictures.

I'll gladly trade my weather over the past couple of days for yours. I should be starting to get ready for golf now instead of shoveling snow.

Visiting relatives in central PA. No pics, as they put me to work cleaning cars and sidewalks. Powder snow here. About an inch. Easy to clean with a broom. Unfortunately, PHL was a mess and cancelled our flight until today. I stayed off the roads as much as possible. You don't want a Texan trying to figure out how to drive in this stuff.

The Day After the Snowstorm. The temperature is in the teens (°F) or several degrees below 0°C and windy!
This is a view of the US Capitol that not as many people see - because it's on the other side of the Mall (east side).

A more close-up view:

All of a sudden there's a lot of seagulls. There's so much sand and salt that they think the city's a beach!
