So- on the subject of kilt hose, before you get the Stillwaters- which are great for the price- you might want to check out http://stores.ebay.com/WB-SOCKS_KILT...QQftidZ2QQtZkm because they're even better for the price. Grey or lovat green would look much better with a Leatherneck than white. ALSO- get a saffron heavyweight!! I have one of each, and the heavies are so much better, even in hot weather. They breathe better when it's warm and insulate better when it's cold, and they just look better!
