Thank you, sir. I thought that the Black Stewart would be the perfect tartan for the visit.

Thanks for the sharing the pix. Look forward to the wedding pix.

I was fortunate to visit this hallowed ground in 2004.

    Great pictures and congratulations!
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

Great pictures. I expect anybody who had any idea of what happened there would get a lump in their throat.

I've been fortunate enough to be in Scotland several times (and on somebody else's nickel), but the last time was about 10 years ago and I didn't know about Culloden at the time. It's definitely a place I want to visit when I get the chance.

Culloden is one place I simply must go when I visit Scotland, and it is a place where I would certainly wear my Maclean kilt--couldn't see being dressed any other way there.

You know, I've received a lot of compliments about the Harley jacket with the kilt.

Great pics! I was there just last July, and before that in 2003. Although I very much love trees, I was glad to see the battleground reconstructed to look more like the marshy ground that both the rebels and government army had to contend with. I like the new visitor's centre, as well.
