Kilted at Culloden Moor
I just got back from my honeymoon in Scotland! Here are some pics of me kilted at Culloden Moor and wearing two tartans at that. The kilt is an SWK standard Black Stewart and I'm wearing my Craig tartan scarf. I'll soon have some pics of the kilted wedding as soon as my buddy gets me the picture cd.
I had a great time on the trip and felt most at home kilted there. I saw a few other gents kilted while I was there as well. And of course, the hospitality of the Scottish people was fantastic!

Congratulations on the wedding and glad you had a great time in Scotland.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Congratulations on the wedding.
Looking good, such a poignant location for a kilted photo.

I'm returning to attend the battles commemoration in April, with a load of hairy kilty patriots, so will post some photo's after the event.
A very atmospheric place didn't you think, always moves my jacobite heart.
Congratulations by the way

Culloden is an extremely atmospheric place, especially the Memorial Cairn, the Graves of the Clans, and the Well of the Dead. The moor has quite a solemn mood about it and you can feel a certain presence there, the presence of those who fell in battle. I was quite choked up there. My wife didn't really know anything about Culloden beforehand, but when I explained the battle and the aftermath she understood.
I'll definitely be kilted on the day of the commemoration.
Thanks to all for the congratulations!
