    He might at that. He is very proud of his Ulster Scots heritage (aka Scots-Irish).

    A good idea, but remember that in order for a tartan to be officially recognised, you would need to enlist the support of a state legislator, since it would be the Virginia legislature, and not the US Congress, that would recognise a tartan as the "state" tartan.

    Aye, Todd! As I was sitting on I-95 this morning this occured to me. Now who would be a good state senator to approach?
