Actually, as we were traveling down, we encountered a horrendous windstorm in the high desert. It pushed us towards Palm Springs with tail winds of 65 to 70 miles per hour (it also broke the hinge on my car door when we got out for that Joshua tree picture). Trees, power lines and various debris were spread all over town when we arrived.
All because "The Powers That Be" wanted to ensure we arrived quickly, I'm sure.

That motorbike makes the evil moderator look good, what do you guys have against that palm tree anyway ?
The SCHoolmaster reports the weather in PS is also most excellent in the mid - to - late fall as well. 
CT - is it too son to start planning the next one ? I think not

Great set of pictures ... really glad you all had a fab time. Also I am pleased that Hamish behaved himself and didnt eat or drink to much.
