    I have mine on a hanger that keeps the kilt tight at the top, allowing it to hang straight.

    I mostly use the one hanger method. I fold the kilt in half so one strap is even with the other and the fold that in half again, pleats out, and clamp the bugger. This only works well with lighter kilts though. FOr my heavier one I use the two hanger method.
