    i must admit ya had me there , thats the thing with words i guess
    though its a bid mad when you come onto this forum and everyones going on about whose from where and all that though granted folk are proud the heritage but people are people ive said it a few times on different topics but thats all we are people who are trying to recapture things and folk who are long dead and buried all that remains is what folk think these people did and speculate on evidence and data gathered over time,

    im all for respecting the ancestors but i reckon if they lived today they`d have laughed at us and told us to stop out hayvering and get on with life and be thankful for what we have

    But aren't the Dal Riada (Gaelic Celtic) Highland Scots just 2nd class "Johnny-come-lately" foreigners from Ireland, compared with the "indigenous" (Brythonic Celtic) Lowlanders and Picts?
