First off, kudos to you two for participating in the Walk. The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer awareness walks (http://ww5.komen.org/) are a blast to participate in, and definitely help the community. I say if he's okay with wearing it, go for it! Having participated before I know the people there will appreciate anything you do to help support and motivate them; especially if it means wearing pink!
As for the motorcycle, I have no experience, but am thinking it's not a good idea. Road rash.....<shudder>

He has the self confidence to wear it that is for sure. We keep getting comments that not many people are willing to wear pink, but if it is for such a good cause.... why not?
I don't wear a skirt when I ride my 50 cc scooter. I don't care if I'm going 20mph I wear all my gear helmet to boots to gloves. He does too but we did see some one ,on a harley, ride to a celtic festival. We aren't going to do it but just a question that needed answer. That answer is don't it's not safe, but if you do prepare for road rash.
Support the cause wear the pink and know so many will appreciate the gesture, and alone is worth it. Tell them it's salmon if it's an issue and you come from a long line of Highland salmon fishermen. LOL

As for myself, I ride a (Vespa-style) scooter kilted on a frequent basis. The only tip I have for that is: TUCK your pleats under yerself, and tuck them WELL, otherwise you'll be wearing your kilt above yer head!
All righty then!
Everyone: if you haven't seen the Utilikilt Mock-u-mercial entitled "Call me," be sure to check it out.
Hey, they have some Mockumercials that I haven't seen yet! Great line of the day: "Even a man in a dress knows that pants are for women."

I have the answer to both. But it is my answer, and may not be worth a dang to anyone else.
First, the breast cancer walk. Get someone to make pink ribbon kilt pins. I might even be tempted to wear such a thing. (I might even if I have the chance to buy the shirt i saw last year, with the ribbon and the text "Save the boobies" but it appeared to be an official shirt. My dad died of Cancer, but I bet he would have loved that shirt.)
As to the motorcycle, get a nice looking lass (preferably the spouse, to be safe) to ride on the bike behind him. The body will wither keep the kilt down or block the view from the back, and the hands can take care of the front. Of course, hyjinks could ensue.
