It was my pleasure to serve as Comedian of the Day, but it's not difficult to come up with new material with the particular sett of the rabble we had there on Saturday.
This was the most enjoyable Games I've attended, and it looks like everyone else had fun, too. We saw several "kilt don'ts", discussed politics, religion and weapons, and were glad the rain held off for several hours. And I was the only one wearing a dandelion!

I hate that I missed it this year, it looks like everyone once again had a great time! Next year I hope to be back.

    Gentlemen,
It was a true pleasure to meet all of you face to face. This was my first games, and I definitely will make the effort to be back in years to come, and to other games in the region. (Stone Mountain anyone!?!?) Many thanks to Heath Bar and Barclay for hosting our troupe of XMarkers in their tent, they were excellent hosts!

Wasn't this pose the "Derek" stance?

Great pics! (gack - have I gained that much weight??) What an awesome weekend! This was an outstanding group of gentlemen, and their wives, to be around. It was great to spend time with my cousins, Heath and Lisa, and to see some old friends and make some new ones. This was certainly the laughing-est rabble I've ever been around, and David kept us giggling all day Saturday. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera, but you guys got some great shots. I can't wait to see the pics from The Ship pub that Peter got on his camera. (And if you ever find yourself in Gatlinburg, it's a great place for dinner or a pint.)

Mud and all, and the mud has become expected at these games, it was a great time. Thanks, folks!

It was - that was our hat-tip to the undisputed "King of the Welsh cilt", Derek.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go figure out how to make a "Chocolate Eruption" and scrape the blue paint off.

I believe that this is a perfect example of a "Sett" of Xmarkers. :ootd:

Great photos, thanks for sharing them with us.

Does anyone know what tartan Atlanta was sporting? (I think it was Atlanta) It's the burnt orange field, with green stripes and bars, or that's as close as I can remember. In Budd's pictures the tartan in question is the opne of the band with the pipe major (? sorry, the only term that came to mind was drum major, but that's my music training coming to the forefront) facing the band, with his back to the stands. Thanks!
