The Other Glasgee...
Thanks for those great photos. I've always wanted to make Glasgow, but even from Lexington it always just seemed a wee bit too far... (at least for a starving artist).
Anyway... good pics, especially that fella heaving the hammer(?)! Were you intending to catch him with his feet off the ground, or was it a lucky shot? At any rate, an excellent photo. Thanks for posting.
Cheers,
Wesley

I thought I would share a few others. The first two are of "cooler carts". I've seen these there before, but this year they had a race between the two. Let me tell you, these thing are fast.

The games are held at the Barren River State Resort Park. A cairn there has been erected in the memory of Robert 'Hagar' Swanson.

Great pix all! It was interesting learning who the feathered dudes were. I hope the low attendance is not a forebearer for other Highland Games.

Great photos, thanks for sharing them with us. The guy with the two knives does look a bit out of place. Wonder what he was thinking?

Even more so with that tee. It all seems so incongruous.
Anyway - I think I've seen that drum major before. Such a distinctive look.
