I see you are looking for a casual kilt in one of those tartans. What is your budget? I think that will be the determining factor in making a recommendation here.
I would like to get two eventual, first off I was looking for something like the usakilts or sport kilts..not wool, but also wanted to get a tank as soon as it is possible....

I did some quick searches to see if something like what you want is out there but I couldn't find anyone offering Davidson in non-wool. I would take Matt's advice and check out the STM's casual kilt offerings, they will be wool and a little bit more money, but well worth it I'm sure. You might even want to save a little more and get one of Matt's box-pleats, from what everbody says and the photos posted here, they are amazing.

Kiltmart had kilts in the Davidson sett for a short while, at only 32 dollars! However, they only stocked them for a short while. I keep looking to see if they will come back in.

It's my wife's clan, so my son would be entitled to wear it. Unfortunately, when they had them he wasn't interested. He only expressed interest in getting a kilt after he had been to a celtic festival. They didn't have any at the festival either, nor even a Davidson scarf for my wife.

The Captain of Clan Chattan, Mackintosh of Torcastle, no longer lives in Zimbabwe. Mail directed to him at the Zimbabwe address given in another post will not be forwarded. If you have questions of Torcastle they are best asked of Mackintosh of Mackintosh.

Neither Torcastle nor Mackintosh recognises any restriction on the use of either of the Clan Chattan tartans arbitrarily registered by Lord Lyon in 1938. Both were formerly Mackintosh tartans and one, with a white over-check, was adopted by Farquharson of Finzean for a while in the 19C. The simpler version of this complex sett is the one generally woven and sometimes worn by members of Clan Chattan as an alternative to their own individual clan tartans.

From the research I have done I truly got it for a steal as well, many many great thanks to this kind gentleman for the amazingly fast shipping....Im still kinda awestruck. Now I just need to get a black belt and sporran....wow...
