Maybe so, but I'd love to see it. Can you imagine the size of the guys who duel with the pianos? They must make caber-tossers look puny!

I note the duel starts at 9:30. Perhaps this is the establishments way of encouraging folks to go home when the kitchen closes...

That sounds reasonable to me. If we meet up as we did the last time, 6-6:30,
we should be out by the time the dueling starts!

Out? I thought Iain was participating. I was going to stick around and cheer him on.
(and possibly rummage his pockets for left-over shortbread in the event of a TKO...)

I'd love to go if I can. As of next week I'll just about always have my weekends off.
I have a NWC meeting on Sat 25 from about 1-4pm.. (They've been running late)
I have a Jacobites meeting on Wed July 29 at 7-9pm.

The choices for a location seems to be Liam Fitzpatrick's or Fiddler's Green. Either one is fine with me.
Iain and Joly, do you want to go to Fitzpatrick's two days in a row?

That's what I was just thinking. What if Joly and I go there and find out the food is awful, or, horror of horrors, that they're not kilt-friendly?
I'd suggest we hit Fiddler's Green again this time, and Joly and I can share with you what we learned about Fitzpatrick's.
