The 17th or 18th would probably be good for me. I'll be in Orlando on orders (military). Fiddler's is good. Raglan road is nice, too. There's an English pub at festival bay that's pretty nice, as well. I think Orlando area is an ideal meetup, since it's as central as you get in Central Florida. If the stars align, I'll be able to drag my bagpipes to one of these.

Iain and I are having lunch at a place in HeathRow on the 17th to check it out.
Anyone wishing to join us for lunch on that day is welcome of course. At this time I do not know the name, but Iain does, and I'm sure he will chime in on this thread in due course. We usually meet up right at noon, so if anyone is so inclined please join us.
The end of the month sounds good to us. You are right about the games. I am leaving very early on Thursday Morning for Grand Father Mountain N.C. and will be gone until Monday the 13th.
I agree 100% on the noise issue as does Lady Linda. Fiddlers Green will be on the list but we want to try out other places too. Agreed, Mexican Restaurants
off the list. Not enough variety!
So everyone join in and let the suggestion roll. And remember everyone is invited to join us.
George it would be grand if you could join us for lunch on the 17th. Pipes or no! Do let us know if you can make it, we would all love to meet ya!

I'll have to see what my schedule is before I commit to lunch. It's a working weekend in Orlando for me. But I'm working for a conference... I won't know if I have the morning, mid, or late shift until I check in.

I work evenings Monday through Friday, so a Saturday night would be better for Linn and I.

Someone needs to run up to Sanford and wake up Iain, I'm sure he is asleep at his desk again, though he claims he is working, got his staff trained not to knock at his door when it is closed! hehehehehehehehe!

Hey! I'm up! I'm only here because I needed to step away from a letter I was writing before the paper burst into flames. (Note to self: That's a good indication not to send the letter.)
Here's the place Joly and I are headed for lunch:

EWWWWWW! I was just looking at their menu ... they serve Leprechaun wings! I don't what disgusts me more: the thought of eating little leprechaun wings, or the really hokey "Irish-icity."

From the website (which I just found before I posted the link), I'd say Liam Fitzpatrick's is what Fiddler's would look like if it was started today by someone with more marketing in his background than Irish. But I still think it's good to check the place out.

Dueling pianos seems like an excuse for not having a fiddler or piper.
