Having just moved to Edinburgh 10 days ago, I have got into the habit of going into the Scotsmans Lounge just off the Royal Mile and the Hebrides Bar near to Waverley Station and having a pint or two of Caledonia 80 shillings beer and one or few double (70ml) Famous Grouse whiskies (£2.50 what a bargain !).
It's pushing 40 out there today (100 for you Fahrenheiters) and a good drink from a hot place seems appropriate. Blow the dust off that bottle of Don Julio Anejo tequila, and line up some glasses here on the bar for the rest of the soaks.
Lime wedges are for sissies.
