Is the Cunningham tartan the same as the Ayrshire disrict tartan? If it is, then there is no criticism. Generally speaking, I would expect a clan tartan to take precedence over a district tartan if they are not the same. In truth, very few would even know what a Cunningham tartan, or, the Ayrshire district tartan was. I mean no offence, but I certainly don't!
