Druid in a kilt at a Graham Ministries event

Just finished the load-in and set-up. The touring group was digging the UK Workman. I had several people take photos of me/with me. I handed out at least seven UK business cards. The Graham Ministries group was there doing a pre-show video walk-n-talk. In several shots I could see them framing the background around the stage where we were working. Might even see my **** on TV.

Several converts in the making, all in all very nice people and it's going to be a rocking show.

I myself am an openly proud pagan. I can't hide the fact that I am, nor do I want to. You shouldn't, either. You're there to do a job, so don't go there preaching- but don't hide it, either. It's OK for them to have a Christian concert to show how Christian they are, so it must in turn be OK for you to do the same. It's as simple as that. However, I have been told by more than a few Promise Keepers that ***insert crossdresser statement here*** and ***going to hell statement here*** and the same by people in Focus On The Family. So you never what hardcore Christians will say- but I have to say that I am well tolerated by my mothers Catholic church.

I am a very conservative Christian. Have worn kilts to men's bible study breakfasts,"Mens' Fraternity" a fundamental Christian program for men in search of authentic manhood, had many excellent responces over the 24 weeks of the program, wore a kilt each night. (What could be better evidence of authentic manhood then a guy in a kilt) been to other events at very conservative churches never had a problem. Always well accepted especially by the ladies. Never to a worship service (my wife really does not approve of my wearing a kilt at all). It all depends on the people you encounter and their preconceived ideas and their own insecurities. At the mens' fraternity one fellow searched me out to say he had to talk to me because I was evidently secure in who I am.,had a nice long talk

Like a few others on here I, too, am a proud pagan, a hedgewitch in fact.

For all that, I choose not to deliberately goad folks of other faiths. Indeed, I would say that inclusive paganism is the antithesis to exclusivist religions. As for kilt-wearing, remember that, supposedly, you live in a relatively free country.
