Misery Is A Morgan In The Rain
Well, that's a maybe... Romilly Squire and his Missus will be staying with us before the games, so we may have to resort to bigger bus! But fear ye not! I will probably take the Morgan to the Williamsburg Games... unless it rains.

Hello Mael, it's been a while.
I and a few others will be at the Williamsburg games. We will be in the SAMS tent, Scottish American Military Society. Please drop on by and see us. Last year when I was backing up my truck to unload all of my gear, I ran over a water spigot and water starting to shoot up about six feet in the air. I'll tell you about it if you drop by the tent.
As far as the music, it is fantastic. If you like Celtic Rock, you will love the music at Williamsburg.
See ya'll there.

It's 6 1/2 hours away, so I think I'll have to take a rain check. If you photolog it the way you've done for your Gathering trip, we'll all get to experience it just as if we've been there with you.

When given a choice, most people will choose.

There will be a few to get a taste of the experience. I do look forward to meeting you, so I guess I just have to head to Carolina.

There are a few Conditions determining my attendance, so I'll just have to get a job quickly, get the Jeep fixed, and request those days off.

Looking forward to the VA Scottish Games this year. I've actually convinced my son's Boy Scout Troop (I'm also the Assistant Scout Master) to go there as a cultural trip. So if you see some scouts looking lost, it's my boys on their scavenger hunt.
BTW if you have any suggestions on things for their scavenger hunt, please let me know. Right now I'm looking at things like sending them to a clan tent to get the clan motto meaning, having them ask questions of the Heavy Athletics guys, asking someone about the meanings of the different pieces of clothing etc. Let me know if you have any ideas.

Drillagent,
You could have them try a chanter (with an agreeable piper), eat a bite of haggis, or do a bit of a sword dance.

I am planning to go. Will you be manning the Malcolm tent both days?
