    Cool boots!

    I'm curious about the belt - that's not a buckle? It looks like it's a thick belt but it wrapped around? Do you have a close-up pic? or can you tell me more about it? I like it a lot!

    thanks,
    Noah

    As it happens, since the photo he sent me was ginormous, I am able to provide a reasonably clear close-up.

    He got the belt from a vendor at Grandfather Mountain selling leather wares. It wraps around through the d-ring, and from there the loose end of the strap could hang down - it's trimmed to go to the hem - but in this case, he's wrapped it around himself again for a tidier look.

    Regards,
    Rex.

    Thanks! I will have to keep my eye out for something similar. I like the idea of a completely adjustable thick belt...

    Ring Belts are popular ren-faire items, here's a good vendor for them;

    Order of the Dandelion, The Houston Area Kilt Society, Bald Rabble in Kilts, Kilted Texas Rabble Rousers, The Flatcap Confederation, Kilted Playtron Group.
