My only regret in this is that I did not get online early enough today to be a part of the decision making process. Personally, I would have voted for the sporran. As a paramedic, that is just job security! (though I do not see myself moving to any part of Cali soon!) I must support my brothers on the west coast.
But then, you may appear a bit strange in a kilt after one of those shark attacks you mentioned...
Oh well, I wish you no ill fortune. And please, keep THOSE pictures to yourself. Some of us eat while posting...

Don't forget the fins!! Another good thing about the wetsuit is that should you have an encounter with "Jaws" the suit helps to hold your bits together until the paramedics arrive. What was that I read about Humboldt Squid near Santa Cruz??????

I imagine at least ten different looks will come his way in the wet suit!

It fits almost well enough-he opted for the comfortable one, rather than the one I would have chosen!

There is nothing Jamie fears more than sharks. Odd that he should choose this new hobbie.
Be well,

Actually, there is some very good surfing down in Cornwall, not all that far south of Trefor.

It must have been the year Jamie was born - Tom Jones was singing 'Why why why Delilah', and Mary Hopkin 'Those were the days'.
Cornwall, an old van - white sand and clear blue skies, singing in the pub in the evenings, sleeping on a lilo on the floor in a village school, trying to avoid sun stroke during the day and watching the surfers chasing waves to ride, then gliding back towards the beach - or falling off their boards.
I was doing work on the impact of the Torrey Canyon disaster on the coastal ecosystem, an oil supertanker went aground on the Seven Stones and spilt crude oil - 120,000 tonnes of it, in 1967 - March I think.
Oh yes - those were the days.

I, being severely addicted to the ocean, would have made the same call. In fact, even though the Atlantic is probably getting reasonably frigid, I'm sort of jonesing for a swim now.
That is a sharp looking sporran though. I hope it's still on your "save your pennies" list.
