First choice would be an apple pie shake as made by the Malt Shop here in Estes Park....BUT since they sold out I have to change that to carmal and peanuts on french vanilla ice cream.

There's a local chocolatier here in the Seattle area that makes a real nice dark chocolate sauce. Fran's Chocolates. Now, with respect to ice cream, the only place to go in the Seattle area is Theno's Dairy in Redmond, WA. http://www.thenosdairy.com/ I highly recommend it to anyone here who's either visiting the Seattle area or who lives in the area. Well worth the drive from Seattle, or even from Everett, maybe even from Tacoma. -J
I agree with Robert and Robert - another scoop of vanilla on top. Regards Chas
I have to say creme de menthe on vanilla ice cream.

Salted cashew nuts and melted bitter chocolate on plain vanilla ice cream. Or two scoops of (real) pistachio ice cream in a cup of lemonade.
Vin gardu pro la sciuroj!
Pina colada drink mix with good old vanilla ice cream. It makes a wonderful milk shake.

Vanilla ice cream, with an ounce of bourbon over the top. Spumoni needs no toppings. It's frozen fruitcake.

I bet Amaretto would be good over ice cream. Especially Lazaroni.
Put on 5 lbs just reading about all the delicious sundaes! My favorite is Eddy's french vanilla with warmed Saunder's caramel chocolate sauce (which seems to be only available in the metro Detroit area). To die for!
