the pin holes are not serious, this question is often asked, it's part of the weaving process and or finishing process, the fabric is slightly stretched using a special bar and frame, called a tenter, which has tenter hooks.They leave tiny holes whihc generally will either disappear or certainly diminish in time. They often seem a little more obvious on pv fabrics,
Graham... I'll ditto what Paulhenry said. Also, please note that these holes are in pv fabrics and most (if not all) wool kilts as well. This is not an excuse, just an explanation of fact.
