Attached to One Kilt.

This is about home wear.

I love this kilt. It’s so comfortable. I’ve worn it several times. It must need to
be laundered, although not yet clearly so.

I have other kilts. Why (for the moment) am I so attached to this one?

Because it's your favourite kilt and you're used to wearing it.

But what I wanted to ask was: do kilts need laundering? It's wool - I thought wool didn't need laundering. Just a good airing every so often. But you think it must need to be washed after seven or so wearings? And how can it need laundering when it's not clear that it does?
