Because it's your favourite kilt and you're used to wearing it.
But what I wanted to ask was: do kilts need laundering? It's wool - I thought wool didn't need laundering. Just a good airing every so often. But you think it must need to be washed after seven or so wearings? And how can it need laundering when it's not clear that it does?
