I wish I had photos or more knowledge. Unfortunately when my grandmother passed away back in 2005 in Northern Ontario a lot of photos and things were given away or garbaged! Photos, an Ontario tartan kilt. About the only thing I could get my hands on and rescue were; my great grandfathers dogtags, a few medals and St. Christophers medal he wore for his time in France.

Needless to say I am more than a little disappointed in the general handling of the situation to this day. Other than that I don't have a lot of links to them anymore.

Joseph Andrew Harvey, great-grand dad, had a son, Ernest Harvey, an engineer, who was killed by a German sniper in the second world war. He also had daughters, my grandmother and only a few more. I think my grandmother was the youngest and last surviving link.

My dad always felt more Canadian than Scottish-Canadian, so never really was interested in his heritage.

I don't really have much to go on.

Oh! Mr. Kilt we probably crossed paths at the Scottish pavilion last week! I have been a regular attendee for the last 4 years!

Small world this internet!
