Let me first say that I don't know the type of weather that you are having at the moment, so bare with me. I think you are in danger of being over dressed with the PC in these circumstances. In Scotland a tweed Agyll(day wear jacket) and day sporran would do nicely for both events. Yes I know you don't have a day jacket! A pullover(sweater) will fit the bill nicely instead. Have fun and I wish I could be there for the horse show.
