How does the class system work? we work in terms of open, confined and masters. open being the invitational, confined is like amatuer, locals confined to their local district, and masters would be much the same i would have thought. would guys like Vierra and Brock be class A?

The way it mostly works here is that you have a professional class (Vierra, Brock etc) and the the amatuer classes. Amatuer classes usually are A, B and C, (based on skill level) the Masters and sometimes even lightweigts (under 190 lbs). Depending on who shows up and their abilities, sometimes the Ams are lumped into an "Open" class.
Check out http://www.nasgaweb.com/getstart.asp for the typical class breakdown.
