I'm less than two years away from that milestone and I'm already receiving application information from AARP (pass the Geritol).

I mistakenly got an AARP card for nothing mailed to me when I turned 30. Chuckled a bit, then threw it away, thinking I am far from that age and not wishing to even think about it then. A couple of months later I regretted it when I discovered that AARP gets you some sweet discounts on hotels, car rentals, and a bunch of other stuff. Finally got mine again as soon as I turned fifty last year and use it regularly.
