Thank You, Your Royal Highness
The numbers are in, and the attendance was up (for the fifth straight year) at this year's GREENVILLE SCOTTISH GAMES.
Over 20,000 people came through the gate on the Saturday of the games, up nearly 4,000 from last year's crowd, making Greenvile one of the most successful one day games in the Eastern United States.
A total of 547 pipers were present, and most marched in the parade on Friday and took part in the massed bands at the games on Saturday.
Although the date isn't official, it looks like the Greenville Games will probably take place next year on Saturday, May 19th.
See you there!

That's great. I am surprised that the gate numbers were so high, though. It never seemed very crowded, at all; in fact it was quite pleasant to walk around. I guess having such a large venue helps spread things out and avoid a crush.
I will definitely go again, next year.
