Ham visit ..

Ham has just been to stay with us for past several days ... heres a few pics of our adventures. Ham also took loads of pics, so I guess he will be posting some as well.
Ham arrived just after lunch on Thurs. The rest of the day we spent chatting, drinking beer n' wine and eating till late. No pics of that.
Thursday dawned, and Ham was in need of a 'fix'. So I took him to get one. You can tell by the smile on his face that he was happy with it, and took some home for further use.


We also wandered around a bit, and then met Elaine for a pub lunch. After which we headed back home and to the Church Hall to set up ready for our Folk Club that evening. We soon got Ham working ...


Not long after the doors opened it was filling up fast. Soon after this pic it was jam packed and we had to put several more tables up. Can you spot Ham in the pic?

Early Sat morning we set off for the Waterfall Country,(about 45mins away). It was showery to start. Here's Ham taking a pic of one of the cave entrances.


During the showers ..


Then it cleared up as we made our way along the trackes to the waterfalls


Ham could'nt make it down to the ledge or the gorge at the bottom of the waterfall.. so I took his camera down and took the pics .. I'll let him post them. Half way back up I took a pic of myself. Its quite a scramble and rock climb .. ok if yer on yer own .. but you best be last in the crowd if your wearing a Cilt/Kilt.

Then it was back to the tracks ...

Then we took off to a lovely watering hole about 2 miles away for some refreshments

On the way out. The weather was improving by the hour.


So we made a decision and we took to the hills ..


Eventually we got back and took it easy for an hour or so then headed off here to collect our take away .. the dogs not ours by the way .. were babysitting while Gordon (from our folk band) is on holiday with his family.

Sunday morning we took off early again. We caught a bus to the start of the walk and then headed off. We were making for a watering hole for Sunday lunch.

We eventually made it back.
In the evening we had a party at the house .. guess there was about 20 of us .. we drank lots and had a good sing song. Unfortunately I did'nt get any pics but I know Ham did .. so maybe he'll put a few of those up.
Mon morning we had breakfast aand a chat then Ham had to make his way back home. We had a great time and a good laugh.
So thats it for now ...
