    MacFett, thanks for the input. My kilt, a PV MacDonald, has vibrant colors and it looks awesome. However, it does have a bit of a 'flare' to it, and the material is not soft at all....as you stated, a starchy kind of feel. I do, don't get me wrong, love this thing. From a distance you'd think it was wool. Upon closer inspection, just from feeling the material, you'd know it wasn't. But, hey, it's a great kilt for the money and for my specific purposes, like kickin' around in. I'll order another one, soon, from Brad. I like the McLeoid ancient!!

    Try tossing it in the washing machine and line drying it. There was a huge improvement in feel when I did this with my BW PV. Don't use fabric softener though.
