I won a pair of Big Mikey's several months ago in a contest he was running. He custom made them of yarn color and pattern matched to my Ancient Caledonia Kingussie (Keltoi)kilt and they look great with about 4 or 5 different color solid hose I can wear underneath them. Normally I would wear a multicolor fancy hose with most kilts if at all dressy, either argyll tops, pattern tops, diced or full argylls, and this is a much less expensive option that allows for multiple top and hose body combinations to be worn with any given matching kilt. My review:

They can even make a white pair of hose (normally taboo to most) look very good as they add that additional splash and pattern of color to the stark white of the hose body.
