When you chronically forget how to sit in a kilt without anyone losing their dignity, then you will be to old to wear utilikilts, and, regrettably, any other type of kilt!

Several years ago, at an assisted living facility that I managed there was a resident named Florence Jacques. Mrs. Jacques had grew up in New Orleans. Now well into her nineties and infirm; her mind was sharp as a tack. Several times, she would give me sage advice. I remember this one quite clearly. Ernest, she said, "never act your age. Just do what you want to do."

I don't think so. I'm going to be 82 in Nov.and wear a UK several times a week. I have 19 kilts,5 of them are UKs. Haven't worn trousers in 3 years. I may reconsider the UKs when I reach middle age, however I dont think so.
