That fact made me smile, too, Jock! It is refreshing to see women dressing like women, and not pretending to be men. Seeing ladies wearing the kilt reminds me of Samuel Johnson well-known quotation, slightly altered:
"Sir, a woman's wearing the kilt is like a dog's walking on his hind legs. It is not done well; but you are surprised to find it done at all."
Well done, lady pipers at the Argyllshire Gathering!
