As a Gaelic (Irish) speaker myself, I collect Gaelic cinema. Seachd is a very well made film with some incredible talent. The cinematography and filming is beautiful, with most of it being shot on Skye. Another reason I love this film is that it is very Scottish without being very shortbread.
Another film to check out is Kings. It's all in Irish Gaelic and is a little depressing (as many Irish films tend to be), but also an incredible story and very powerful.
